Author Interview with Ella Frank & Review of Take

Hi Ella, welcome to BookBoyfriends Rock, we are so excited to be taking part in the release of Take . I can honestly say it's been one of the most anticipated books ever for me. I love Logan & Tate.

I know you haven't been very well the past couple of months, we hope you feel better soon and appreciate you taking the time to answer our questions.

Hi there! Thank you so much for having me, and wanting to take part in Take’s Blog Tour. I love that you fell for the guys and couldn’t wait to know what was going on in their lives! That makes me very happy.

The last few months have been a little rough health wise, but I was determined to get the boys out on time, no matter what!

1. What was the first M/M book you read?

My first actual full M/M read was by GA Hauser, but it was JR Ward and the relationship she was flirting with between two of her characters that really intrigued me and sent me hunting. I wish there had been all of these blogs around to help me out back then!

 2. Have you been surprised by the reaction to Tate and Logan's story and the demand for book 2?

Yes! Completely surprised. I wasn’t sure when I released Try, how people would react, so to say it was a pleasant shock is an understatement. I love how people embraced Logan & Tate’s story and were willing to give the book and try (ha!), even if it was something out of their comfort zone.
In the end, their story was really just a sexy romance, and it wasn’t about them being two men for me, it was about them being two people with an undeniable attraction.

3. If you could have any of your books made into a film which book would you choose?

Hmm, probably Blind Obsession. That book is so visual for me. When I wrote it I could see and hear it very clearly. Although, it would be a very dark movie, that would require a box of tissues.

4. What was the last book you read?

I’m currently reading The King by JR Ward.

5. Do you have any plans to do a book signing in the UK in the near future?

(I live in hope lol )

Unfortunately no. Not in the near future. I plan to do Australia next March though, so you never know!

Review of Take by Lorna Fisher

What were you doing on the 20th of November 2013?

Personally, I began a frantic search of Ella Frank and all her books after finishing Try.

I have been pining for more Logan & Tate for roughly 230 very, very long days. But it was totally worth the wait. I loved Take! It was great to see the emotional side of both Logan & Tate and to see how vulnerable the author made both men. In this book, we see a totally different side to Logan, watching him struggle with his emotions and see his growing fear of trusting someone. He is basically waiting for his heart to be broken again. Tate is starting to see that his relationship with Logan is not going to be easy. He doesn't understand all the prejudice towards Logan from his family.

Ella Frank does a fantastic job taking you on a very emotional journey with both men. Be warned that your heart will be put through its paces. There are some major HOT sex scenes and creative sexual innuendos (I will never look at a pencil & sharpener the same). Your heart will definitely shatter, but rest assured, it will be put back together before the end.

Take was a fantastic read! I loved every single minute of reading in it, and I'm now counting the days again until I can read Book 3.  5 Stars!
