Anna has agreed to go to New York with her friend Leah and Leah’s boyfriend Daniel. Daniel would be in meetings all day and with Anna on the trip, the girls could check out the sights in the city. Getting away is just what Anna needs. After a bad break-up she needed to just get away, escape her life and traveling across the pond to New York would achieve just that.
Lean and Anna decide to go out to a bar for a couple of drinks, to unwind and officially get their holiday started. When a handsome man across the bar buys her a drink, she at first refuses then accepts the free cocktail. When the stranger comes over to talk to her, the alcohol making her braver than normal, she lays out her rules for the evening. No names, no discussions about work or living arrangements, just one night of bliss. After one night turns to several days and the countdown to departure for London looms, what happens when one week with a stranger isn’t enough?
I enjoyed the story and cannot wait for the second book to see what happens. The author did a great job of describing the emotions Anna and Ethan were experiencing. I have to wonder though if the bar was a setup by Leah, to introduce Anna to Ethan. 4 stars

About the Author

I write sexy, romantic, contemporary novels - the kind I like to read!
Ruined by romantic mini-series of the seventies and eighties, I love all things romantic. There's not enough of it in real life so I'll settle for books and films.
I love the rain, the West Wing, London, days when you don't have to wear make-up, being alone, being with friends, elephants and champagne.
