Oh what to say? This book covers a lot of heavy and dark issues so it is definitely not for the faint hearted. I really enjoyed Ryan and Ellis's story (I think I fell in love with Ellis). I enjoyed the fact it was a female biker as well. If you enjoy biker romances and loads of hot sex, I would definitely recommend reading it.
Shannon Ryan is a female biker who returns home from the military to live with her brother at his MC club and she meets up with her childhood crush Ellis (Vice President) of the bikers. Shannon has a boyfriend of two years, Jeremiah, who is still in the military but all is not well in that relationship. Shannon has been battling demons on her own for years and has built a wall around herself, making sure no will see how weak she feels. Her worst nightmare is to think that all the guys will see her as a weak woman. Ellis falls in love with Shannon and makes it his mission to prove to Shannon that he will be there for her no matter what; he just wants her to lean on him. He is ultimately trying to prove to her that she can have a happy ever after with him by her side, but Shannon has secrets. Sometimes love just isn't enough.

Rachael is a stay at home mom with 2 young daughters and a husband that keep her constantly on her toes. She lives in the extremely hot state of Arizona, where she reads and writes away the blistering heat outside. She is a cancer survivor with a quirky personality. She’s been an avid reader for as long as she can remember and been writing since she was in high school. Her hopes of being a writer were crushed when she was young but one day she decided she was going to do what makes her happy and that was to write.
