“Tell me any of that, and I swear I’ll leave you alone, cuz at the end of the day… All I ever wanted was for you to be happy, and if that’s not wit’ me, then at least I have the memory of the love of my fuckin’ life.” He placed his forehead on mine, bringing his hands up to frame my face again. “Say the words, babe,” he groaned in a tone that made my stomach flutter and my body warm. His mouth so close to mine that I could feel him breathe on me. The smell of cigarettes and mint took over my senses. As if he was testing me, he licked his lips slowly, provoking me. Proving that he was right. I shut my eyes. I had to. The realization was too hard to admit, and I knew he could see it in my gaze.
He knew me. “Creed,” I panted, my breathing mimicking his. “Please…”
“Please what, baby?” he rasped as if he was hanging on by a thread.
Waiting for me to say the magic words that would
set us both free.
“Creed,” I whispered in a voice I didn’t recognize. Trying to reel in my feelings, hide the fact that he still had an effect on me.

This is book
two in the Road To Nowhere Series. In book one we were left on a major cliff
hanger. I was anxiously awaiting this book from M Robinson so we could get the
conclusion on Mia, Creed and Noah’s story. I had so many questions at the end
of book one and could not wait to dive into this and see how M concluded this
story.
What I
Love About This Book
This book
was everything!! It was a brilliant conclusion to the Road To Nowhere series. M
did not disappoint with this one. It was rawer and grittier then typical M
Robinson books, but I absolutely loved it. I was invested from page one and on
the edge of my seat with baited breath throughout. This book is a love triangle
with so many twists and turns. This book is not for the faint of heart. I
suggest having a bottle of wine, some chocolate and some tissues to read this one.
It evoked so many emotions from me and
that is a sign of a great book. I was happy, despondent, angry, swearing,
crying and wanting to throw my kindle at times. I thought this book was skillfully
tied together and had the angst we have all come to love in a M Robinson book. The
sex as always is hot, steamy and will leave you wanting to jump your partner or
reach for a toy! I love getting glimpses at past characters from books and we
get just that in this book. It is like seeing an old friend and makes me feel
all warm and fuzzy. I do not want to get into too much detail and spoil it for
anyone. I will just say this book and this series as a whole is a must read!
Carve out some time and find a peaceful place where you will not be interrupted
and read these books today!
What I
Did Not Love About This Book
The only
thing I did not love about this book was the wait, but at the end of the day it
was well worth it!
I give this
book five stars and happily recommend it to everyone!
