Joe Starling stumbled into a young man’s dream of a job.
Literally stumbled. He has been a male escort for the past several years and
the fringe benefits are phenomenal. While it is not in his job description to
sleep with the clients, what is a single young guy to do when a beautiful woman
asks for sex? Hot sex with wealthy, beautiful women and you get paid for it
that is a perfect life.
Faith Graham has always been insecure about her looks and
weight. Her mother and sisters are constantly commenting on what she wears and
what she eats. Now while she is not a size zero or a size six like they are for
that matter, she is content with her life and her size 16 jeans and chest that come
with the added padding. Needing a date for her sister’s wedding, she was going
to go solo until her best friends chipped in to hire an escort to be her date
for the wedding. Going to the agency to meet the man who will accompany her,
she takes one look at Joe and lets out a loud no, this will not work. He is
tall, dark and handsome, and no one will ever believe he is dating her.
Joe takes one look at the strawberry blonde woman looking at
him and is entranced with her eyes. Glancing down her body he notes an ample
chest and bottom he would love to grab onto and….! His thoughts are interrupted
at her loud dismissal of the idea that he should be the one to accompany her.
No one has ever turned him down and now he wants to get to know her. Talking to
her and being with her, he is attracted to her sweet nature and kind
personality. The sexual chemistry that is between them is also off the charts.
When there one “date” ends and Joe asks to see her again, her self-doubts take
over. What would a man like her see in a plus sized girl like her? Plus could
she deal with him seeing other women, dating other women? When Joe realizes he
does want something more, and is willing to give up everything for her will it
be too late? Can she give him the second chance everyone deserves?
This was such a great book! There is humor and a little
heartbreak but with the HEA, I couldn’t be happier. 4.5 stars
