Life is good for Jaret. Expensive cars, great house and
girls who are more than ready for anything he asks them to do. The lie he has
been living comes crashing down around him when he sees Lin, someone from the
past who he actually cared about and loved. She is now with an abusive jerk and
Jaret will do anything to be back with her. How did such and amazing woman end
up with such an obnoxious guy? What happened to the dreams of college, the
reason they never continued their relationship years ago. When they spend some
time together, they realize what they felt in the past is still there, and they
will have to face a life or death situation to be together.
This can be read as a standalone book. It is a novella, so
it was a quick read. 3.5 stars.
