I rounded the corner to ’wormz and noticed a few cars in the parking lot already.
No releases of new material were set to come out today, so these customers were probably the early morning creepers. Just what I needed.

Stopping, I swallowed a half a pill and plastered on an “I’m happy to help you, you weirdo who gets out of bed this early in the morning to come to a bookstore” smile and rushed across the parking lot. Because life wanted to throw me a big “fuck you” this early in the morning, I tripped, my bag flew from my hands, and everything fell out of it. Everything.

“Fuck, really?” I stared at my stuff, willing it to go back in my bag magically, when I heard a voice that should not be familiar to me already but it was.

“Need a hand?”

And there he stood. Looking all James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause, popped collar and all, except if I remembered correctly, Dystopian Biker had more muscle underneath that tight black tee and leather jacket.

“Hello.” He waved a hand in front of my face, and at that moment, I realized I hadn’t replied to him yet.

Shit, I’d gone catatonic.

I was pretty sure he thought I had turned into a statue, but I was struck stupid and motionless by him. He was a guy who would be described in a book as being take-my-virginity hot. In the sun’s light, I could see the definition of his strong jawline and the subtle five-o’clock shadow he was rocking at almost eight in the morning. His features were sharp and hard, like they were carved out of stone, giving him that edgy look that all bad boys had. But what had me losing my brain cells were his eyes—the stark storm-gray that looked back at me seemed to see further into me than anyone had ever bothered to look.
Past my fakeness.

“Um, Harley?” He chuckled. Oh god, that sound…that sound almost made my knees buckle.

He had to be a god of some kind. I swallowed the tumbleweed in my throat and tried to act normal. Yeah, that wasn’t gonna happen.

Jeri Williams lives a super fabulous lifestyle (by fabulous, she mean's kinda lame) in the hot Florida sun and loves reading of any kind (except instruction manuals and cereal boxes). She has always written stories and made her family listen to them since she was young, although this is her first book she has ever published. She is a mom of an up-and-coming Jerry Seinfeld (in girl form) and also enjoys being right and knowing everything, although she is hardly ever right and really doesn't know anything and is obsessed with inventing miniature zoo animals you can carry around in your pocket (although not really).

I read the beginning portion of this story in the Riverwalk collaboration and was begging for more of this story. When I heard it was being continued, I couldn’t wait and was anticipating it for months. The remaining story did not disappoint at all!!! Gina and Leddy nailed it with this continuation.

This is the Story of Jordana and Stefan. Both were born into the mafia. Their families did not get along, but that didn’t stop the two of them from starting a relationship that fit them. Jordana is a tough and strong women and being around the mafia her whole life has hardened her. In the bedroom however, she likes to give up her control. Stefan is a force to be reckon with and is in line to take over and lead his family. He is controlled in all he does and that includes his actions in the bedroom. Can these two overcome the hate and dislike their families have for one another. Will Jordana be able to give up some of her domineering personality and allow Stefan to lead her?

I loved this book! It was everything and then some. It was filled with action, suspense, angst and some incredibly hot sex! The main characters Jordana and Stefan were so easy to fall in love and root for. Jordan is a bad a** woman and I can’t help but respect and admire her mental toughness. I do not like weak female leads and she is certainly not one of those. She gives as good as she gets and is not afraid to take matters into her own hands. She didn’t stand a chance with Stefan and his pure alpha self. Stefan is an amazing male lead. He is a strong, determined, alpha male with a dirty mouth who makes me melt every time he speaks. He had me swooning and melting throughout. I adored these characters.


The story line itself was gripping and filled with angst and suspense I love in a book. I did not know what was coming next or what these characters were going to have to endure. Gina and Leddy did a fantastic job weaving these characters and the storyline together. This book made me ask questions throughout and kept me guessing. I sped through this book and I did not want it to end. This book is a must read and I happily give it 5 stars!
