Gina Whitney

Gina grew up reading Judy Blume, and Nancy Drew books. She was raised in the town of North Valley Stream, New York(Long Island), and attended community college for fashion design. At 19 years old, she opened a boutique. She's published four novels so far. Blood Ties(PNR), Beautiful Lies, Saving Abel, Forgiving Gia and soon Luca. Leddy Harper

Leddy Harper had to use her imagination often as a child. She grew up the only girl in a house full of boys. At the age of fourteen, she decided to use that imagination and wrote her first book, and never stopped.

She often calls writing her therapy, using it as a way to deal with issues through the eyes of her characters.

She is now a mother of three girls, leaving her husband as the only man in a house full of females.

The decision to publish her first book was made as a way of showing her children to go after whatever it is they want to. Love what you do and do it well. Most importantly Leddy wanted to teach them what it means to overcome their fears.

I read the beginning portion of this story in the Riverwalk collaboration and was begging for more of this story. When I heard it was being continued, I couldn’t wait and was anticipating it for months. The remaining story did not disappoint at all!!! Gina and Leddy nailed it with this continuation.

This is the Story of Jordana and Stefan. Both were born into the mafia. Their families did not get along, but that didn’t stop the two of them from starting a relationship that fit them. Jordana is a tough and strong women and being around the mafia her whole life has hardened her. In the bedroom however, she likes to give up her control. Stefan is a force to be reckon with and is in line to take over and lead his family. He is controlled in all he does and that includes his actions in the bedroom. Can these two overcome the hate and dislike their families have for one another. Will Jordana be able to give up some of her domineering personality and allow Stefan to lead her?

I loved this book! It was everything and then some. It was filled with action, suspense, angst and some incredibly hot sex! The main characters Jordana and Stefan were so easy to fall in love and root for. Jordan is a bad a** woman and I can’t help but respect and admire her mental toughness. I do not like weak female leads and she is certainly not one of those. She gives as good as she gets and is not afraid to take matters into her own hands. She didn’t stand a chance with Stefan and his pure alpha self. Stefan is an amazing male lead. He is a strong, determined, alpha male with a dirty mouth who makes me melt every time he speaks. He had me swooning and melting throughout. I adored these characters.

The story line itself was gripping and filled with angst and suspense I love in a book. I did not know what was coming next or what these characters were going to have to endure. Gina and Leddy did a fantastic job weaving these characters and the storyline together. This book made me ask questions throughout and kept me guessing. I sped through this book and I did not want it to end. This book is a must read and I happily give it 5 stars!
