Author Interview with Ella Frank & Review of Take

Hi Ella, welcome to BookBoyfriends Rock, we are so excited to be taking part in the release of Take . I can honestly say it's been one of the most anticipated books ever for me. I love Logan & Tate.

I know you haven't been very well the past couple of months, we hope you feel better soon and appreciate you taking the time to answer our questions.

Hi there! Thank you so much for having me, and wanting to take part in Take’s Blog Tour. I love that you fell for the guys and couldn’t wait to know what was going on in their lives! That makes me very happy.

The last few months have been a little rough health wise, but I was determined to get the boys out on time, no matter what!

1. What was the first M/M book you read?

My first actual full M/M read was by GA Hauser, but it was JR Ward and the relationship she was flirting with between two of her characters that really intrigued me and sent me hunting. I wish there had been all of these blogs around to help me out back then!

Interview with Kirsty Moseley, author of Enjoying the Chase

I (Lorna) have been a huge fan of Kirsty's books ever since I read THE BOY WHO SNEAKS IN MY BEDROOM WINDOW back in 2012. I still remember the first time I read it and have enjoyed reading all her books ever since, so finding myself here taking part in the release of ENJOYING THE CHASE is AMAZING! I have to keep pinching myself. ((Happy dancing)) Not only am I doing a review, I have an Author Interview as well. Oh and to top it all off, I am going to meet Kirsty at the Edinburgh Author Event on my birthday in July 2014! So yes to say I'm very excited is an understatement. I just want to thank Kirsty for agreeing to do this and promise to behave myself so here we go :-)

Interview with SK Quinn, Author of The Ivy Lessons and The Ice Seduction

Goodreads

I was first introduced to SK Quinn through a book I found on a free Kindle books email I subscribe to. I read that it was Fifty-Shades-esque (and who can go wrong with forbidden passion) and got it, but it took me a while to get it opened on my kindle. But when I did, boy was I in for a treat. I eagerly looked forward to the rest of the trilogy to be released and was not disappointed. So, when I heard that she was bringing out a new book, I got all giddy and posted to her announcement that I'd do anything I could to help promote her new book, The Ice Seduction. Much to my excitement, she took me up on my offer, and even agreed to an interview (yay!). Enjoy, my friends!

What made you want to become a writer?
Do you know, I'd never really thought about that! I've just always written, but I never really think of myself as a 'writer', if you see what I mean. Just someone who likes writing. I always wrote stories. I remember writing a load of stories about me and my friends when I was about 7 on my dad's computer, and he read them all and I was SO embarrassed! But I got him back. For my first book launch, he dressed up as a Japanese dragon for me, so all's well that ends well ...

What a great dad! I'm guessing that was for Glass Geishas...

Our First Interview!!! With KD Grace, author of The Initiation of Miss Holly and The Pet Shop

Before I (Marissa) begin, I just want to say how exciting it's been to get to know one of my favorite authors, KD Grace. I've had the pleasure of chatting with her the last few weeks and it's truly been a joy and honor getting to know her. (Who am I kidding? It's been AWESOME!!!)

I came across her book The Initiation of Miss Holly on a free Kindle Books email that I receive a while ago and it took me a while to get to it. But, damn! when I got to it, I couldn't put it down. At one point I was thinking "Omigosh! People actually do that sort of thing?" And I'm not easily shocked. (I'm not gonna tell you what it is because you need to read the book yourself!)

Ok, enough of my rablings. This stuff is what you came to read, right? :-)

How long have you been writing?

First of all, I want to say how excited I am to be interviewed by Book Boyfriends Rock! Thanks so much for having me, and for asking me such totally cool questions.

I'm really glad she said that because I asked some pretty unusual ones...

I’ve been writing since I was old enough to put a sentence together, and before that I drew picture stories. Lol! I’m much better with words than I am with artsy stuff :-)
