She calls asking for a favor. Her half-brother is out of control with his playboy lifestyle and his father wants him to get his act together. If he refuses, he will be penniless, cut off from the hard earned fortune his father has amassed over the years. He grudgingly says yes, as her father is his biggest buyer of the organic produce he grows. When Lucas arrives, he is everything that Jared remembers from the brief family parties and functions throughout the years. Handsome, confident and so sexy, Jared is breathless just looking at Lucas, wanting him instantly. But how can he even think about a relationship with Lucas? Jared doesn’t do the one night stand thing so why would such a vibrant young man want to settle down in a small town, settle for him? Maybe, that is exactly what Lucas needs….and wants.
Another great book by this talented author, I really enjoyed the characters. 4.5 stars

Lucas is a spoiled, good looking man who has never had to work for anything in his life. Growing up he attended the best schools money could buy and guys came on to him on a regular basis. He never had to work to attract a man whether the object of his attraction was gay, bisexual or even straight. His straight talk and partying attitude of only wanting a good time kept him well entertained. When his father has had enough of his over the top behavior that is now affecting his business, he sends him to work at his friend’s organic farm.Jared has lived alone since his divorce from Lucas’ sister. Cardeno C. - CC to friends - is a hopeless romantic who wants to add a lot of happiness and a few "awwws" into a reader's day. Writing is a nice break from real life as a corporate type and volunteer work with gay rights organizations.
