Blurb

With an ex fiancĂ© leaving her in debt, breaking up with her girlfriend and struggling to find a place she can afford, Sophie McKenna has hit an all-time low. Everyone thinks she’s a lesbian, and she likes it that way, but her estranged parents know better.

The foul-mouthed motocross mechanic, Rocco De Luca, only has his incarcerated brother left. Every day is a battle of the mind and of the bottle. Tequila and easy women soothe the pain, but they never fill the void.

Rocco doesn’t mind offering his spare room to the hot lesbian he refers to as ‘Suds’. She won’t be clingy, far from it, and he’s keen on the idea of getting to see a bit of girl on girl action.

With such volatile personalities under the same roof, and being in April and Spencer’s wedding party, they both have to learn to get along, even though they can’t stand each other.

He never thought he might actually grow to like her.

She never thought she might actually hate him less.

Excerpt

If I poke him, will it be like waking an angry bear? I’m tempted, but I won’t. That’d be a bitchy thing to do. We might be living under the same roof, but we lead separate lives. And that’s how I want it. Completely separate. Removed. His business is his, and mine is mine.

I take a step backward and step on something metal. I crouch down and pick up a spoon. I look around underneath the coffee table, and find an empty glass bowl with remnants of green an inch below the rim.

Snatching up the bowl, the cruel absence of what I was planning to eat when I got home tonight mocks me.

The motherfucker ate my jelly.

“Hey,” I bark out with a hard shove to his shoulder.

Rocco grumbles and swings his head back violently, one eye open as he searches me out. “Who the ... what the fuck?” he hisses. Rolling onto his side, he props himself up and falls back into the couch cushions and runs his fingers down his face. His dark brown, almost-black eyes drill me, as he runs his tongue over his bottom teeth. The whites of his eyes are scattered with red, and beads of sweat lace his brow and down the sides of his face. He looks like shit. More accurately, he looks like someone who greedily smashed a bottle of primo tequila last night.

“You ate my jelly,” I say, shoving the bowl towards him.

He shrugs and his lip curls to the side. “I was hungry,” he says with a challenging gaze.

“You were fucking hungry? I haven’t been here even twenty-four hours and you’re helping yourself to my food?”

He scoffs, and I want to punch him in the face.

“It’s jelly,” he says, with a roll of his eyes. “It’s like a dollar or some shit. I’ll buy a packet. Bloody hell, I’ll buy two. No need to get your fuckin’ panties in a bunch.”

He sits up and rakes his fingers back through the longer strands of dark hair on the top of his head. He slouches farther into the couch, one hand scratching at the faded black T-shirt adorning his chest, the other hand sliding between his legs and adjusting himself.

Fucking men.

“I’m not pissed about the fact it costs bugger all. I don’t touch your shit and you don’t touch mine. Got it?”

I turn on my heel, flicking my ponytail over my shoulder. I couldn’t be arsed waiting for his response. I can’t imagine I’ll like it anyway.

“Fine,” he grumbles.

“And would it kill you to put the bloody toilet seat down?” I throw at him as I walk out the door.

His laughter echoes into the stairwell, right before the door slams shut.
Arsehole.

I’ve never fucked a woman who didn’t lie.
Not to me. When I’m grinding eight inches deep up against your G-spot, you can bet you won’t have the mind to remember your own name. No, I’m talking about the next guy. And everyone who’s unlucky enough to come after me.
“That’s right, baby. You’re the best.”
“Nobody’s ever gone so deep.”
And this one, the classic. The biggest fucking whopper to ever cross a woman’s lips:
“Size doesn’t matter. It’s what you do with it that counts.”
Right, love. Say that again with a straight face once I’ve stretched you so wide, you’re begging me to stop and screaming for more, all in the same goddamn breath.
Go on, I dare you.

USA Today bestselling author Roxy Sloane brings you the sizzling, filthy conclusion to the Temptation duet!

A woman’s mouth will tell you anything, but her body never lies.
That’s how I like it. I don’t get caught up in any drama, and I sure as hell don’t get attached.

Watching him squirm was fun, almost too much fun.

A muscle in his jaw twitched and if his teeth were clenched any tighter, they would probably break. He oh-so-gently set my card down on the entryway table, as if it were a grenade that needed to be handled with great care. When his gaze met mine again, I could see the worry in his eyes. It was finally hitting him that he was up the creek without a paddle.

“This,” I made whirling motion with my index finger, “is all so very predictable.”

That had his eyes narrowing, anger quickly replacing worry. “Predictable,” he snorted. “You don’t know anything about me. And what little you do know is hardly enough for you to be able to predict anything about me.”

“Oh, but I do know about you. Quite a bit, in fact. Shall I tell you what my research on you has turned up?”

His eyes and mouth widened with shock. “You researched me?”

“I’m the Candy Heiress, born to a family worth billions. Did you seriously think I would wake up suddenly married to a stranger and not immediately look into his criminal history? His life story?” Studying him, his expression told me that’s exactly what he’d thought. The prick. “Let’s see...Where should I begin? Perhaps chronologically?”

“Get on with it. You probably don’t have much,” he replied gruffly. “I was only a bit surprised because I’m not as searchable as you are, princess.”

The nickname had me sending him a withering look. “Don’t call me that.”

“I’ve Googled myself before. There’s hardly anything out there.” His words were like a gauntlet being thrown, a challenge I could not resist accepting. Like most people, he was underestimating me. A huge mistake on his part and a notion I was happy to disabuse him of.

Natalie can't sing. Or dance. Or play an instrument. She can't ride a bike and doesn't know how to swim or drive. As a result, her husband often asks "Are you sure you're not really from Mars?" (the answer, in case you were wondering, is no. Unless New York counts as another planet). When she's not geeking out at her day job, Natalie can be found attempting to wrangle her overly energetic Westie, baking ridiculously chewy chocolate chip cookies, and watching so-bad-it's-good reality television shows.

Blog Tour - Behind Closed Doors by Kelly Mooney

Title: Behind Closed Doors
Author: Kelly Mooney
Genre: New Adult, Romance
Published: August 17, 2016
WILLA

Rules are meant to broken.
Plans are supposed to change.
I knew the rules—knew them like the back of my hand. First one, never fantasize about a co-worker—or worse take him to bed. The other one, never believe you can change a man. Like ever.
And guess what?
Broke 'em. Destroyed 'em.
Damn near shattered those pesky little rules.
How was I supposed to know that Ryan Donahue was going to walk into my life as my roommate and co-worker, and rock my ever-loving world?

And now, our jobs are on the line.
My heart hangs in the balance.
I couldn't just stick to the one single summer of sunsets.
I had to fall for the one man that I knew wouldn't stay,
And I finally know why those rules were put into place.

RYAN

I had a plan.
A strategically orchestrated plan.
It was supposed to be one summer, a favor for a friend. And escape my family's overzealous expectations. Then, I was out—on my way to the life I'd planned.
What I didn't count on was the petite, yet adorable,
roommate, with a pair of green eyes that knocked me off my feet.
One look, and I was doomed.
But then, her name, Willa Bloom, that sent me over the edge.
I was lost in thought.
"Willa-she-be-good-in-bed?"
"Willa-she-like-a-one-night-stand?"
I couldn't concentrate, couldn't focus.
I wanted her—had to have her.

And now my plans,
Those well thought-out, perfectly polished plans?
Completely gone, vanished, disintegrated.
But I'm not going to let that happen,
Not to us

Behind Closed Doors Excerpt © Kelly Mooney 2016

Her name was Willa. All these lewd comments popped into my head, all of them having the same theme. Willa-she-be-good-in-bed? Willa her lips feel as soft as they look? Willa she come quickly? Willa she be good with a one-night stand. Willa? Willa? Willa?
Of course, I kept them all to myself. Now, even though my man downstairs took notice of Willa right away, it surprised me that Regan didn’t have the exact same effect on me. At least looks-wise. Not that Willa wasn’t nice to look at—she had that whole girl-next-door, bohemian hotness thing going on, but her rack was on the smaller side. And I was all about the boobs, baby. I wasn’t sure if it was because my mom didn’t breast-feed me or not. Maybe I was jealous of the other kids with the blankets thrown over their heads while they sucked away, and my mom was openly not giving a shit. I was a bottle-fed baby, and I had been making up for that for years.
Those two globes of white flesh did something to me once I latched on. Just looking at a decent set made me want to slip my… well, you get the picture. Or suck on them, play with them, tease them, bite them—whatever. I just knew that I loved them.
A woman’s body was like the best toy store in the world. A guy could get lost in one and never make it out. So many toys to play with and so little time, but you always had your favorite one you focused on, maybe played with too long. I probably spent too much time on my favorites once their shirt hit the floor. But, no woman had ever complained about how much attention I gave them while I loved up on her.
But for some strange, unknown reason, my cock didn’t care that Willa’s breasts were tinier than he was used to playing with. Just standing near her, I had to refrain from adjusting my shit in hopes she hadn’t noticed she’d gotten my flagpole to stand tall and proud.
Shit! Why Willa? There was nothing off the charts special about her. Well, maybe there was. I knew it the moment those crazy jade eyes sparkled when we met earlier at the bar that something was putting me on full alert. The way she smiled, and how that simple gesture immediately threw me into some cosmic trance of what it would feel like to kiss that smile clean off her face. And that desire irked the hell out of me. She looked like a cross between Kate Hudson and Reese Witherspoon. Willa was exactly the perfect mix of two of my favorite blondes. Cute, sexy, and absolutely adorable. She was a giant ball of energy that I wanted to contain the second I met her.
Kelly Mooney was born in Southern New Jersey and now resides in Upstate New York. She started writing Young Adult novels, but wanted more freedom with her characters.
