An Acute Attraction by A.J. Walters focuses on a single mom of two boys. As an overworked mom, Isabel Chambers needs some alone time. I know, what single mom doesn’t, right? But when an opportunity presents itself to spend a week alone with no kids she jumps at the chance. After checking into the hotel, Isabel sits at a small table in the hotel’s pub and restaurant. She begins to unwind by sipping a glass of wine, and people watching to relax. Watching the people come and go can be a sport in and of itself. Glancing around the room her breath is taken away by a tall, good looking gentleman checking in. His accent gives him away as an American, visiting Cambridge on business or holiday. As far as people watching goes, he is by far the most interesting thing to walk into the room.

Set on the campus of Princeton University, the book is about a young woman named Aribel. Aribel studies hard to keep her perfect 4.0 GPA, always putting her studies first, even ahead of living the college life of friends, parties and bars. After a breakup with her current boyfriend, one that Aribel wasn’t even that upset about, her roommates drag her out to see a popular bar band. Her roommates are convinced she hasn’t dealt with her break-up and is burying her broken heart by working on homework on a weekend night. Fearing it will take less energy to just go to the bar for a little while than argue with her friends, she gives in and goes with them to the bar.

“What if your deepest sexual fantasies could come true?” That is the first line in the trilogy of stories in volume one of Red Hot Fantasies. Um, okay let’s see what this author has come up with. Holy crap pretty much sums it up. This is some fast reading, squirming in your chair kind of reading. It all starts at a bridal shower with a group of woman drinking and talking about fantasies while watching a stripper do his thing in front of the bride to be. Anytime you have women drinking alcohol and near naked men, trouble will ensue. Each friend vocalizes a fantasy they have. One woman wants the hot stripper in front of them. One woman wants to have sex with a total stranger and one woman wants to have several men at once. As events unfold, each friend gets to live out their fantasy. Of course each guy is smoking hot and virile with a killer body that they know how to use. Very descriptive sex scenes with M/F/M and F/Mx4. You have been warned but these are a great hot read.

When Damon arrives to pick her up, she is introduced as Katerina, her given name and she is immediately drawn to the gorgeous man, her date for the evening. Damon is awestruck at the beauty in front of him and her kind, gentle spirit draws him in. The night is fantastic, but Damon warns he is not boyfriend material, but would like her company at social events where he must bring a date.
